Rediscover your Agency
Return to the Fullness of Life
The more you stare at the screen, the further you drift from the life that’s aching to be lived. It’s time to turn your attention back to what truly matters – your one wild and precious life.
You know how it feels to:
Feel wired and exhausted at the same time.
Get sucked into doom-scrolling while your personal projects lie unattended.
Struggle to finish books or concentrate for more than a few minutes.
Allow your dreams to slip away and relationships never have a chance.
Reach for your phone the moment discomfort hits: boredom, loneliness, anxiety, all numbed by your devices.
To be stuck in habits so automatic you barely notice them anymore.
But don’t worry, we are all in it together and you were never supposed to win this fight alone.
That’s why I am dedicating my life to support you on this journey.
Believe me,
taking control of your screen overuse is the best decision

I am Hereward – your Digital Wellness Coach

I’ve struggled with that amorphous thing ‘Screen Addiction’ since I was a young teenager, so more than half my life. The path has been lonely. Silent shame. Countless nights frustrated.
For years I have felt frustrated by the lack of options for support and have watched this systemic issue mutate.
Many years ago I began the work of personal and spiritual development out of a destructive relationship with screens. I’ve tried all the approaches: detoxes, apps, mindfulness, habits & accountability, minimalism, therapy, spiritual practices, quitting social media, retreats, courses.
I’ve now combined all this experience and knowledge and am offering myself as a coach to others.
I’m ready for you to join me on a deep, challenging, but wonderful journey towards your screen liberation. Will you join?

FAQ
I can’t avoid technology in my life. How will this work?
Screen Liberation isn’t about quitting digital life, it means using it intentionally. We’ll learn about conscious digital practices which you can implement into your professional and personal life.
Is the work online?
Yes, I work with people remotely.
What kind of results can I expect?
Changing behaviour is hard and it’s deep work. I am not promising overnight transformation – setbacks and unexpected behaviours are guaranteed, let’s face them with a non-judgemental and experimental mindset. You’ll walk away with actionable tools, deeper self-understanding, and weekly accountability. Results come from applying what you learn. You’ll be supported at every step.
Will this help with my work-related screen use too?
Absolutely. We’ll focus on both personal and professional tech habits.
Is this therapy?
No, this is coaching. It’s forward-focused and action-oriented.
We’re here to understand your patterns with screens, develop together experiments, goals and action plans and build your hero’s journey.
If you are feel overwhelmed emotionally I would highly recommend seeking support from a therapist adjacent to the work that we do.
What kind of experience do you have in screen coaching?
I’m a MOE certified coach with experience of coaching over 10 individuals 1:1 through lasting shifts in their relationship with technology, many of whom had been struggling for years.
My experience spans founding and managing horizontal, self-directed organizations, where I’ve spent years empowering others and fostering cultures of shared responsibility, growth, and psychological safety.
I’ve also worked as a transition worker and youth mentor, supporting young people through major life changes, often in environments overwhelmed by digital distractions.
As an experienced Vipassana meditator, I bring a grounded, awareness-based approach to coaching. I’m also trained in Nonviolent Communication and conflict resolution practices, which I integrate into how I support individuals and groups navigating behavioral change and emotional complexity.
Having worked remotely and led distributed teams for several years, I’ve developed and lived the tools, habits, and mindsets needed to maintain a healthy relationship with technology in a hyperconnected world. This lived experience informs my coaching in practical, relatable ways.
Ultimately, my work is guided by a commitment to intentional living, compassionate leadership, and sustainable digital wellbeing.
I’ve tried before and failed. What makes this different?
Maybe it’s not about the screens?
It’s a complex entanglement of coping strategies related to unmet needs, nervous system and emotional regulation, addiction-like behaviour, cultural conditioning around productivity, validation and boredom…. along with being a product of our disconnected times.
This work will include both implementing conscious digital practises, lifestyle design and boundaries aswell as exploring and bringing to life the more than the digital life you want to lead.
Changing behaviour is hard and relapse is part of the journey.
It requires honesty, deep reflection, commitment to change, perseverance, good humour and learning from setbacks.
Is this suitable for teens?
Whilst I undergo further training I am currently not working with children and teenagers under 18. I would like to do so in the future. If you are a parent of a child or teen struggling with screen use, one of the best ways to support them is to model a healthy relationship with technology. I am happy to work with parents that need personal support around this troubling challenge.
